CollexArt provides a platform for seller to buyer transactions that are based on trust between the two parties. We strongly recommend using Paypal Standard or an insured credit card. It is wise to avoid using Paypal Friends & Family, Zelle, Venmo or other payment methods that are uninsured. You are selling and buying in the Marketplace at your own risk. For more information on Marketplace transactions please see our Marketplace TOS section.
We may monitor items for sale in the Marketplace to be sure they follow our guidelines and are posted to correct categories. We allow the sale of studio gear and tools as well as collectible books and catalogs.
The Marketplace does not support the sale of artworks.
To simply browse items in the Marketplace you do not need a CollexArt membership. If you want to communicate with a seller or make a purchase you will need to be a registered member (free). If you want to sell your own items, you will need to join CollexArt with a paid membership.
Just click on Join in the main menu. On the Join Page you can choose from two different member account types or register for free by clicking on Register in the banner.
Visit any login screen for the CollexArt Store or Marketplace and click Forgot Your Password.
The CollexArt Store features work by our exhibited artists and CollexArt members who have a membership level that allows them to submit artwork for consideration to the CollexArt Store. Our curatorial staff and our guest jurors curate all artwork featured in the CollexArt Store.
The Marketplace is a dynamic member sales area. Anyone who wishes to buy or sell in the Marketplace must be either a Marketplace member or a registered user. For important Marketpace terms and information, please see our TOS section relating to the Marketplace.
The Marketplace is for the re-sale of art/photo studio gear, and materials as well as collectible books and catalogs. We monitor items listed in the Marketplace. We reserve the right to decline any listing for any reason, and at our sole discretion.
No. Anyone who has a membership can sell in the Marketplace. Our only stipulation is that the items are useful for artists (see Marketplace Categories) or are collectible art books or catalogs.
